About this project

Dissemination of activities to promote sustainability in fresh fish through an advertising campaign and a technological application on sustainability and promotion of responsible consumption of fresh fish.

The aim of this project is to disseminate the sustainability actions of the OPPF-4 fresh fishing fleet through a campaign to disseminate these actions and the design and publication of technological applications to raise awareness and knowledge of them.

To this end, data was collected on all the actions carried out by the fleet in the field of sustainability and the graphic image of the campaign was designed: a corporate image to give it a fresh image, gathering information aimed at promoting and disseminating the results of the sustainability actions and their future objectives.

As the central axis of the project, a set of three advertising spots were recorded in which the most outstanding aspects of the fleet’s sustainability actions are collected with the aim of achieving the greatest possible virality through the dissemination of the same.

At the same time, the design and development of technological tools was carried out: a website (http://impactozero.es/) and an App for mobiles and tablets were created with the aim of disseminating the sustainability of fresh fish and promoting responsible and sustainable consumption of fresh fish.

 

For the development of this project, profiles were also created on the social networks Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/Impacto-Zero-136956080200740/) and Twitter (https://twitter.com/impacto_zero).

Finally, to promote the campaign, a presentation of the project and the “Impacto Zero” campaign was held at the Mercado de Abastos in the city of Santiago de Compostela. Different personalities from the fishing sector, the consumer sector and the Mercado de Abastos itself were invited to the event, as well as people from the stalls in the square involved in the recording of the spots and the general public. To raise awareness of the commitment to the quality and sustainability of fishing, at the end of the viewing of the videos, both in the production room and on the different screens located inside and outside the Mercado de Abastos, a tasting of different species of fish was also open to the public.
